Third Annual Christmas Market at North Shore Winery
October 15, 2021 – Lutsen, Minn. – North Shore Winery (NSW) is excited to announce its third Christmas Market, taking place on Friday, November 26 from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Winery in Lutsen, Minn.
North Shore Winery’s Christmas Market turns the Winery into the North “Pole” Winery loaded with art, gifts, food, and wines to enjoy or to give as holiday gifts for friends and family. The market will sell holiday decorations, art, gifts, wreaths, maple syrup, and warm winter beverages. The fires will be blazing and heaters warming so everyone can enjoy this fun indoor and outdoor experience.
Vendors displaying their wares are listed below. All shoppers must be masked during the event to protect our vendors and staff. We are keeping the event small to offer safe shopping. Please be kind, it is the holiday season!
· NEW! North Country of Lutsen – We are excited to feature Danielle Fortin’s new business featuring local and regional art, earth-conscious goods, and north woods inspired gifts.
· NEW! Nan Onkka Prints of Grand Marais – Nan Onkka specializes in reductive woodblock printmaking influenced by the lakes, fields, hills, and forests she calls home. Nan’s prints are a beautiful addition to your holiday shopping list.
· NEW! Art by Julia Klatt Singer of Minneapolis – Julia Klatt Singer is a painter and poet working in watercolor, acrylics, and oil. Creative and fun, Julia has many offerings available for memorable holiday gift giving.
· Wreaths by Ann Honer of Lutsen – This is Ann Honer’s second year at the market, bravely setting up shop outdoors. She will have a variety of wreaths and boughs, perfect for your holiday decorating needs.
· Jim Cordes Holiday Folk Art of Lutsen – Jim Cordes’ wonderful unique holiday folk art pieces make great gifts and the ornaments are perfect for your holiday tree.
· Kari Vick, Ink of Lutsen – Kari Vick will offer art, books, cards & gifts. She will also be signing the books she has illustrated, which make great gifts for the holidays! Three new titles in 2021!
· Mueller Studio of Lutsen – Greg Mueller will offer will offer reclaimed metal wall relief assemblages.
· The Big Lake of Grand Marais – Abby Tofte’s store in Grand Marais will have its Lutsen pop up open for the day bringing you an assortment of unusual, creative art gifts.
· Art by Anna Hess of Lutsen – Anna Hess is a winery favorite – her bear prints are hugely popular. Anna will offer a variety of holiday gifts including art and cards all with her artistic flair!
· Border Designs of Lutsen – Dave Woerhide is the artist behind the woodwork used throughout the Winery and the creator of our agate backsplash, a visitor favorite. Dave will bring agate and wood gift ideas for the holiday season.
· Wild Country Maple Syrup of Lutsen – Michael and Carrie Baker will offer their locally produced maple syrup and maple syrup-based products featuring bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup.
· North Shore Winery – The Winery will offer mulled wine in a Christmas Market souvenir cup with reduced priced refills along with wine and cider gift packages.
The winery and tasting room, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minn., is open from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. The tasting room offers a flight of tastings for a fee along with carafe, glass, and bottle purchases of wine and hard cider. The tasting room offers a selection of crafted cheeses and cured meats to enjoy while visiting the winery.

North Shore Winery, established in 2013, was founded by Chuck and Kim Corliss and in 2017, Jeremy and Mary Hanson became partners in the business. The winery offers red, white, and rose wines for tasting and purchase. Under the brand, Sawtooth Mountain Cider House, the hard ciders offered are created with a local flair. The Winery, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minn., is open year around. to experience a taste of Lutsen and is closed on Wednesdays.
