I’m not what you call a wine snob but I really do enjoy a nice red. This 2019 Merlot is surprisingly smooth from start to finish. Slightly fruit forward without being fruity, in other words a great balance of bold without being chalky from start to finish. I even think this wine could be one that you could buy a few to enjoy now and cellar a few to taste how the flavors soften as it ages. A true delight by itself with some friends of course. Or with a nice meal, something off the grill or out of a crock pot. Maybe even with Hot dish and bars! Yummy.
